Happy Customers

Your happiness is what I'm all about. If I can do it, I will. If I can't, I'll tell you. No BS involved.

These are just a few of the projects I've managed. Each customer came to me with an idea in mind and some level of uncertainty on just how to go about it. In some cases, I knew exactly what to do. In others, I did research to find the best solution.

I can do this for you too! Just contact me, and we'll get the process started.

The first thing I'll ask you to look at is my MySpace profile. (A screenshot is available if MySpace is down, as it frequently is.) I do this for two reasons.

  1. You'll get to know a little more about the person you'll be working with. (Maybe more than you want to know.)
  2. This will give you an idea of what I'm capable of, especially if you've ever tried to manipulate a MySpace profile before.

Let me make this clear though - I didn't do that without a lot of help. I didn't come up with the technical plan myself, that was done with help from a wonderful tutorial I happened upon while looking for ways to customize my profile. But I think that's a great example of how resourceful I am if nothing else, as when I need to find a way to do something, I will. (And it wasn't an easy job, let me tell you now.)

Now, on to actual happy customers.

City Dweller

City Dweller The project: A low cost, easy to maintain e-commerce site. My solution: A site built on ZenCart, an open-source cart. I customized the look and installed modules necessary for features the client requested, as well as product entry and management.

Harbinger Consulting

Harbinger Consulting The project: A redesign of an existing site that was not standards compliant and proved to be somewhat buggy in modern browsers. My solution: Overhauled the site with a new look and feel that is XHTML and CSS valid.

Rook's Gambit (blog)

Rook's Gambit The project: Client wanted a blog that he could host himself, but had no hosting or domain. My solution: Assisted customer in domain registration and setup, then installed and configured WordPress with a free template that I customized.

Diverse Universe

Diverse Universe The project: An e-commerce solution for as little money as possible that was sturdy as well as capable of expansion and customization. My solution: Worked with a third party vendor to implement the solution with a custom design, and I continue to maintain the site.

Luna Gardener (blog)

Luna Gardener The project: A theme for a WordPress blog that matched the look and feel for the already existing website. Client also needed help with using WordPress. My solution: Customized a free theme to make it match the site, upgraded WP to the latest version, then created help documents and answered questions.

Treats Between The Sheets

Treats Between The Sheets The project: An e-commerce site with a highly stylized look and feel that the client could manage on their own. My solution: Worked with the client's designers and an outside contractor to implement their custom design on a Zen Cart installation as well as providing training and ongoing webmaster services for the site.

D.S. Resch Photography

D.S. Resch Photography The project: A photographer needed a site to showcase his work that he would be able to update and maintain on his own. My solution: Used a combination of WordPress and Gallery to create a site that he could easily manage with little technical knowledge, and customized the look of both to work together seamlessly.

Lakewood Pride

Lakewood Pride The project: A low cost solution to create a directory with a specific target in mind. My solution: I customized a popular open-source blogging platform (WordPress) to work as a searchable directory system and arranged for logo design through a third party.

Let the Lady Speak (blog)

Let the Lady Speak The project: An existing blog that was using the most popular free service. Client wished to implement a more feature rich solution but retain data. My solution: I installed and configured the open-source blogging software (with a freely availably template) and imported the blog data from her other service provider.
